Welcome to my revamped website, which went live on 27th April, thanks to the very able team at BHM Media Ltd of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, UK  (www.bhmmedia.com).

I hope you like the layout, the accessibility, the freshness and the tone, all of which will hopefully make you, the Visitor, feel as welcome and well-informed as possible.

As you will discover, I am a highly experienced Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon, based in Warwickshire and Coventry and offering a wide range of Cosmetic Surgical Treatment in my Cosmetic Practice, complemented by a particular interest and expertise in the surgical management of Skin Cancer and of Dupuytren’s Contracture of the Hand.

I am a Member of the BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgeons) and of the BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), and I have been submitting audited data of my cosmetic surgical activity for the annual BAAPS Audit for the last 10 years.     I have been on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery since the Register began in 1994.

Together with my BAAPS colleagues, I have long called for and supported much tighter controls and regulation for both surgical and non-surgical Cosmetic Procedures and welcome the recently published ‘Review of the Regulation of Cosmetic Intervention’ (see www.baaps.org.uk/baapsmedia/Final Version pdfpdf ) and will be posting a further Blog about this soon.

Expect a Blog too about the continuing problems with PIP Implants, about which I hold strong views, presenting in February to the quadrennial Congress of the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) in Santiago, Chile in a paper entitled ‘PIP Implants: the evolving UK experience’.

Watch this space.  RNM
